Rum Punch Reception

On Tuesday MP for Hackney North and Stoke Newington hosted a British Caribbean All Party Parliamentary group rum punch reception in the Palace of Westminster.

Attendees at the event included star of Casualty and Comic Relief does Fame Academy, Kwame Kwei-Armah; “The Apprentice” star Ansell Henry; the Jamaican High Commissioner Burchell Whiteman, Lord Bill Morris, Lady Ros Howells and other members of the House of Lords and Members of Parliament.

The guests were treated to rum punch cocktails courtesy of Wray and Nephew and delicious Caribbean food courtesy of Cleone Foods of Birmingham.

The British Caribbean All Party Parliamentary group is a group of MPs of all parties who take a special interest in the English-speaking Caribbean.
